Review on Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 1S Global Robot Vacuum Cleaner, white by Anastazja Jdrzejewsk ᠌
I was surprised by the quality for this price.
First experience with a robotic vacuum cleaner. They took it to help with the "classic" vacuum cleaner to collect animal hair (cat + cat) and small debris - it copes with this function just fine. With the exception of minor flaws, there are no complaints about the vacuum cleaner yet. It should not be taken as a complete replacement for classic cleaning, otherwise it is very, very good.
Pros
- 1. Handles cat hair and debris very well. 2. Flexible options for setting cleaning zones, scheduling and setting restricted areas without using a magnetic barrier tape, as on previous models. You can set the power change depending on the region of the apartment. 3. Copes well with its task in two medium power modes. The maximum mode has not yet been used, since less power was completely enough. 4. The apartment has a high-pile carpet and several treacherous ledges where you can get stuck. The algorithm processes them adequately and the vacuum cleaner does not try to storm them to victory. 5. Powerful wheel drive, thresholds about 1.5 cm high overcomes without problems. If you leave the closet open, it is quite capable of going inside. I managed to move the coffee table (I don’t know if this is a plus or a minus). In fairness - after marking the room, he left the table alone.
Cons
- 1. The main, in my opinion, design flaw: air outlets on the back of the vacuum cleaner. They are directed parallel to the floor and when "marking" the room, the vacuum cleaner raises a decent amount of dust and wool with its "exhaust" into the air. Perhaps upward deflectors would have saved the situation. The remaining (insignificant) shortcomings relate to the software: 2. The application for iOS is damp. The iPad lacks some of the features of the iPhone app. Fully configure and use all the functions so far only available from the phone. 3. On the iPhone, the application freezes a bit when working with a room map. Not critical, but sometimes you may need to restart the application. 4. There is no 2022 language pack. More of a nitpick than a drawback, since the model is for the Chinese market. In addition, there is a completely normal English voice alert package (again, you can only turn it on from your phone at the moment).
