I came across a version with funnel holes built in. I figured it meant fewer small parts to lose. The balls are easy to fill and keep well in my freezer. The best part is that no water leaks. The worst thing is that he comes close. It's a little difficult to get the cubes out of the mold. They come out with a soft top half and I have to gently peel them off to make sure the ice ball doesn't fly out and roll away. It's not like it rolled anywhere or stayed a ball for very long. The result is cubes that resemble two 1/2 balls that appear to be stuck together. There is a clear separation between them, and their spheres often diverge at a midpoint. If I had had a commercial freezer, the results might have been different. With my mid-range kitchen gadget, however, the results are far from impressive. UPDATE: I received an email today from "Doris" mentioning and saying this review. "If you delete your review please let us know and I'll issue you a £30 Revain gift card straight away. It doesn't matter if you've already returned it for a refund. to bring it back. "Just thought I might cite that as one of the reasons this product has only exemplary reviews.
