I bought this for better video calling with Zoom and MS Teams. The computer is about four feet from the Orbi in the same room. When Orbi is running, it sparkles like lightning. But it often hangs and drops all connections that require a reboot. This happens a few times a day and often during important meetings with clients. abominable. I placed the satellite so that my son has good WiFi access in his room for his online school. When it works, it quickly freezes, but even more often it freezes and loses connection (purple LED is on). Even more terrible. This is using the latest firmware as of October 15, 2020. I was hoping Netgear would release some firmware updates to fix this stability issue, but nothing so far. I bought it in July so I went through the return period. I reverted to my previous Wi-Fi network.
