Review on Lund 602002 Ramp Kit for 2-inch x 8-inch to 2-inch x 10-inch Wooden Planks by Eric Edgar

Very cheap alternative

I bought this kit so I could load my '92 Honda 750 Nighthawk into the back of my F-150 (which has a very tall tailgate). I used 10ft long 2" x 10" and shortened it to 8ft and used the other 2ft for reinforcement by bolting it down the middle. The bike weighs about 550 pounds, neither the aluminum end nor the board flex at all. I was only able to use one of the aluminum parts but it couldn't work better. It's a lot smarter than buying an expensive metal ramp because it's a lot cheaper and a lot lighter. Definitely a good buy no matter what the weather you're loading, whether it's a motorcycle, four wheeler, lawn mower or just a ramp that makes loading and unloading your truck or trailer easier.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Can't remember
