Review on 🍨 Advanced Cook Smart Scoop Ice Cream Scoop by Kent Kings

I've had one of these for years and just replaced it when I noticed it left aluminum residue in vanilla ice cream. After reading some of the reviews I realized that this was entirely due to my foolishly ignoring the hand washing instructions. For years I put it in the dishwasher despite the warning PRINTED DIRECTLY ON THE HANDLE IN FRONT OF ME and the protective layer came off. Guilty. However, the ice cream scoop is one of the best designs I've ever used and is easy to scoop and release. The split shovel/scissor design works better than any other trigger mechanism I've ever tried and I'm adamant about using my new one forever now that I know enough not to put it in the dishwasher. It would get 5 stars if it was dishwasher safe, but that's really a minor nitpick.
