This is a nice item for a shelf in our nautical themed bathroom. The dial is quite small so be aware. It's perfect for our small bathroom. I would like to point out that the kit did not come with instructions, which is why I did not give the kit 5 stars. When it arrived the clock was not working. It was a bit like a Chinese puzzle trying to figure out how to hit this thing. It actually only took me a few minutes to figure it out, but it's made in China. The dial is held in place by friction and can be gently pulled out with a fingernail. Around the stem is a rubber ring (like a watch) and a few small pieces of plastic that hold the stem. Remove the plastic parts, set the time and insert the stem. Now the clock should work. Attach the rubber ring to the watch and put the watch back into the helmet. The battery (included) is a 1.55 volt SR626sw (also marked 377). I hope this information helps in case yours arrives without paperwork.
