Weaker than the old Kitchen Aid

Well it works. but not as good as our previous 10 year old Kitchen Aid. My wife had an old Kitchen Aid mug 11. She preserves/fills/recycles a lot of food so she used it a lot. Kitchen Aid lasted probably over 10 years and then last week the bowl broke and there was no replacement part so we had to buy something new. Based on the reviews, we chose this Cuisinart 11 mug. One of the foods my wife preserves are tomatoes, which she uses in a variety of recipes throughout the year. This was the first object she completed with the new Cuisinart. According to their report, this new Cuisinart took about four times longer to process braised tomatoes than their old Kitchen Aid. To be fair, it's only one element, but the result is still the result, much slower. After reading all the positive reviews we chose Cuisinart but my wife is not happy. I have no idea if the new Kitchen Aid has a weaker motor, but of course it's very difficult to repackage all the Cuisinart and its parts and pay for the return shipping. As I finished this review I was reading some of them. new Kitchen Aid reviews for their 11 cups. Some complaints about a weak engine and sub-par performance. It seems everyone is now stuck at the poor performance of these new models. It looks like someone has the ability to create a truly superior market and clean it up with a CPU that's actually capable of doing what it promises.
