Review on Westinghouse 7773200 16 Inch Ceiling Medallion by Sara Lutz

These medallions will add a touch of elegance and enhance any installed appliance. They're a great price, the reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because they're *not quite* as good as the Lowe's Portfolio brand I've used in the past. In the photo collage you can see the difference between the two: Portfolio (Lowe's) on the right and Westinghouse (here) on the left. The Westinghouse brand is whiter in color, which can give it a more plastic look, and has a slightly less fizzy edge. This can be corrected by using a spray primer and painting it a light cream color (or any color you like). That being said, a branded portfolio is $22 at Lowe's, so you can buy almost two of these Westinghouses for the price of a portfolio. They're not close enough to mix and match, so be sure to pick one brand and stick with it throughout the house.
