Average device. Inkbird phone app is useless, don't worry. Like other reviewers, I wasn't able to connect it to my Wi-Fi network, which is probably a blessing. I'm not sure I'd even want to give an app written in Shenzhen access to my Wi-Fi network. The device is reliable enough, the manual should be rewritten by a native English speaker as the details don't match the controls very well. but. In the end I managed to set up and start the device. I started with hot water, but the device quickly reached the set temperature. the last few degrees were slow. This may be intentional. I checked the water temp with another submersible thermometer and it was accurate. Made a really good Ribeye with the device. It did a good job. Worth all the sous vide effort to discuss, but maybe I'll cook a decent steak first :-) I want to try it again with skinned chicken breast and maybe fish.
