I can't say enough good things about this speaker. That's why we love him. BENEFITS 1. Bluetooth AND extra jack/headphone jack. YUP! Thank you! 2. It has a lot of volume! Big! And the sound quality is really clear, well balanced and full :). 4. If you need surround sound, it can be connected to both your phone and another of these speakers. 3. Small but not too small, easy to handle. Clips with attached carabiner on backpack. 4. Durable! Shockproof, waterproof, etc. It's really well made. 5. Simple. I connected the charger/USB cable to my computer and turned it on while charging. 6. Best of all, everything costs less than $10. We had a $50 pair of computers/auxiliary speakers that threw it at the curb. Literally. We just threw them away, leaving only the AUX chord. Because it's better in every way and works great for a computer speaker :) 7. It has an FM radio (see update/guide below) which may work well depending on reception in your area. 8. Playback from micro SD card :) (See update/instructions below) Notes: 1. Short charger/USB cable. Just enough to reach the bottom of the plug. I personally like it, but not everyone will like it. It also does not include a wall socket/USB adapter, You need to connect it to USB or use it with a cell phone socket/adapter. They say it must be positive) send us a second speaker within 30 days. Then we can play Christmas music from the same player throughout the house. for less than $10. This company is the best! Update after further use: it has an FM radio. Here's how it works. You turn on the speaker by pressing and holding the power button. It will probably say "Bluetooth mode" when it's on. Wait. Then press the same button twice. Another mode will be listed, possibly "AUX mode" if you have a 2-string 3mm chord plugged in like the one we plugged into the computer. Wait. Double click the button again and it should say "FM Mode". Do you understand. Press and hold the volume up and down buttons to search for stations. It works :). Sometimes it goes into scan mode and I have to go back to what I want. It works :). If you see "Turn off power" when you double-click the keys, you pressed the key for too long. Try again once it turns back on, but a little faster. Much luck. Likewise. It plays TF/microSD cards. i just did it I went with the 32GB because I wasn't sure if it had a capacity range. Grab a microSD card adapter (we have an ANKER adapter that's around $10 on Amazon), insert a microSD card and put music on it (we used Windows Media Player). Remove the microSDc adapter/reader and insert it into the speaker. Double click the power button to change mode until "Play from TF card mode" is displayed. Big. Hold and press the volume buttons to skip forward or backward. If instead you want to skip songs and just skip playlists, just drop another folder, then just skip playlists, but songs from each list will play. It's really awesome. We use it for my son who has trouble sleeping to play music to him at night. Using an SD card means we don't have to drain the batteries of another device, and it's not easy with it getting confused and derailed. This is an excellent speaker.
