Review on πŸ–₯️ BenQ GL2480 1920X1080, Flicker-Free Monitor by Stanley Reiterman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great monitor but lacks speakers and no display port.

I'm slightly disagreeing with the addition of a 5th star and here's why. The speakers are just terrible. Now I have two of these monitors, and on both at max volume, both HDMI and line-in, they're almost inaudible. The volume is at maximum in the PC settings and in the monitor menu settings. Lots of people have this problem and I have it with both I have. But there is a reason that I now have 2 of them: It was never really important to me whether the speakers work or not, since I have external speakers and also often use the headset. The color quality on both was perfect, they look exactly the same side by side, very little backlight glare compared to most monitors I've had, and the size, quality and price are just too good for the combination. I've had one of these for almost a year and haven't had any dead pixel issues, the new one is fine so far. This monitor does everything I need and the 24 inch screen is the perfect size. to my taste and table. I will order a 3rd monitor for gaming with NVIDIA surround sound. The reason I finally decided to give 4 stars although I don't need speakers or have high expectations, I paid for them and if they are on the feature list they should at least work to a usable extent was really a star deduction the lack of a display port. Of course, I could get an active adapter or something similar, and this in no way limits the capabilities of the monitor from the advertised specifications, but I think that this limits the future availability of this monitor. If you never plan on using more than 2 monitors, don't mind buying an active adapter and don't plan on ever using speakers, this monitor would be a great monitor for you. You could opt for a monitor with a built-in DisplayPort. If you're not like me and this is the first monitor you're buying and not just a similar one, I'd recommend doing this if DisplayPort benefits you in the near future.
