Review on Dorman 82595 Coolant Reservoir Cap for Jeep Models: A Perfect Fit for Your Vehicle by Arturo Reyes

This cap will NOT fit my 94 Grand Cherokee's stock reservoir because the cap is too large and the threads do not match the threads on the tangential axle. I am the original owner of this car and have never changed the expansion tank. . The problem appears to be in the parts supplier/dealer database and/or there was a specification error somewhere, possibly at the Chinese manufacturer level. 93-94 use the same cap but then change to 95-98; I suspect this cap might actually fit 95-98, but it definitely won't fit 93-94 as I've also tried Napa's cap and it doesn't fit. However, the Jeep dealer's Mopar cover 52005184 (which claims to overlap with Dorman 82595 and Napa 703-2321 but clearly does not match) FITS as it should. Looks like I could either switch to the new tank design or check out another reviewer's Volvo cap. DO NOT BUY THIS CAP FOR GRAND CHEROKEE ZJ 93-94 - IT WILL NOT FIT.
