Better than Rio good for me
After using up the tippet on one of these leaders in 9ft 5x I thought I’d try a Rio & SA nylon leader to compare. The Rio had terrible memory issues which caused the tippet section to eventually knot up and be rendered useless. The SA was better, but almost too supple. At less than half the price per leader, these Bozeman Flyworks leaders are better quality.
- I appreciate being able to buy tapered leaders with a loop.
- Tapered design may not provide the desired casting performance
