Rigid and easily torn mesh. It's sad because it's a beautiful picture.
Bought for my 9 year old grandson. She is awful to work with, the canvas is so hard and not pliable at all. The squares broke when he tried, they also broke when his mom and I did. I have been making rugs for many years but I have NEVER seen one like this. The paint was thick in places and covered some holes. It's a shame, because we really liked the picture. I would definitely not recommend it to any child. Will return. It's a shame because it's a great picture.
