Perfect Charger for Leappad

My granddaughter's Leap Pad had been idle for 3 years and we couldn't find a charger so I ordered this charger and the only thing my son had to do was get one small piece of rubber to crimp so it can connect to the Leap Pad. I don't know why this had to be done as it was the correct charger for the Leap Pad.
