Review on 🚰 High-Quality Replacement Valve Cartridge for American Standard 994053-0070A Bath & Kitchen Faucets by Carl Estell

I installed my American Standard faucets in 2000 and the original American Standard cartridges have been smooth and non-drip for 17 years. When they started dripping, I replaced them with $11 third-party fakes and immediately realized they didn't have the smooth leverage of the originals. The movement of the lever felt like there was sand between the shaft and the body. The killer thing is that they only started dripping after 3 years. I took two of those American standard cartridges and after installing them (a ten minute job for both hot and cold water) I was immediately pleased with the very smooth action of the lever which feels just like the original. These cartridges are very well built, easy to install and only take 30 seconds to remove the stem clamp and move a small cam to change the direction of the lever for cold or hot lever movement. I am very happy with the quality of these cartridges and do not expect to have to replace them for the next 15 years. They are definitely real.
