I really like these little pliers. They look very solid and massive. They are not light or flimsy like others I've bought and returned. Another issue I had with the light and flimsy ones was that the silicone ended up slipping off and I actually pulled on them and they didn't. The locking feature is very secure and works very well and the tips connect perfectly at the ends. I bought these little tongs specifically for cooking and turning bits and pieces like chopped hash browns and scallops, and those that are easier to turn with these smaller tongs than a spatula or larger tongs.
