I have had a timer in my kitchen for several years and after a long time of use the small stand on the back finally gave out. I've been looking for a replacement and while this is the one I'm replacing, I'll buy it again. My purchase history tells me I bought this in April 2014, it is now October 2020. So 6 1/2 years for a sub $20 timer? Yes, and technically the timer still works, it's just a lot more inconvenient to use. I'll probably keep the old one in my desk drawer for those rare occasions when I need to run two timers at the same time. One of the reasons I love this device and would buy it again is that I can easily dial in the time I want without messing around with the minute/second buttons. The display is also quite large and the alarm signal is loud enough to hear on headphones or a TV in the next room. I think I can't go wrong buying it again?
