Advantages: Easy installation. It paired easily via WPS when I was in the same room as the base station. Cons: No/weak signal only 30 feet from base unit through two interior walls. I ended up buying an AmpliFi HD Wifi MeshPoint (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YM2VMR4) for $$$ that connected to the same place where the TP connection failed. AmpliFi works great.
