Review on 💡 ELECJET AnyWatt USB C Adapter - Compatible with MacBook MagSafe Charger, Type-C to MagSafe Converter for Thunderbolt Cinema Display Charging - M1 MacBook Pro Air (White) by Keith Leach

July 2019 I am updating my original review from October 2018 which I am leaving as is below and giving 5 stars. Today I walked into my home office and the air was filled with the pungent smell of burning electrical equipment. It turned out to be an Elecjet power supply. It was very hot to the touch and the area near the cable exit of the device was slightly deformed due to the heat. The device has worked perfectly up to this point, however I can no longer recommend it due to the risk of fire and possible fire. USB-C ports I was very concerned about getting my Thunderbolt display to work properly with them. Thunderbolt has two cables, one is a MagSafe socket for Mac power and the other is a Thunderbolt port for on-screen video and audio. This ElectJet adapter works great with MagSafe to USB-C and powers the Mac as expected. For on-screen video and audio, I grabbed an Apple dongle that turns Thunderbolt to USB-C. I'm in business with both keys.
