Independent testers found Tenda more profitable. The reviews were mostly good and the Revain was selling well so I ordered it. Upon receipt, the router was packaged as sold and returned with the power cord and patch cord crumpled up and the protective covers attached at an angle with lots of blisters underneath. I started connecting it, which was pretty easy and intuitive in just a few minutes. It worked great and I was happy - within twenty minutes. After twenty minutes of use, my internet connection dropped and never reconnected. I restarted the modem, router and computer but there was no connection. Maybe that's why it was brought back in the first place. With all the routers I've hooked up in the past, I've never had to call a helpful tech and didn't feel like getting started. A router that connects with no problems and works fine for twenty minutes does not require troubleshooting. I returned Tenda to Revain for a full refund and ordered an ASUS router to replace it. It was a bit more expensive but much more reliable and much faster than the Tenda. Now I'm a happy tourist! As always, Revane was very helpful and accommodating on return, for which I am grateful. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a Tenda router and will never buy it again.
