After reading a few things and watching a few YouTube videos I decided on this cooler for a complete upgrade I did on my main computer. At the same time that I bought this, I also bought Asus ROG Strix MB, AMD Ryzen 9 3700x and Corsair Vengeance 32G RGB. Knowing how much I was going to put into this computer, I knew I needed water cooling, and it had good reviews from people who really knew what they were talking about. One thing no one mentioned and I only found out after installing it was that your power supply must have a 5-wire SATA power connector if you want EACH of the LEDs to light up. I had to look at the troubleshooting section on the Corsair website to find out. My PSU is a 700W Thermaltake Smart PSU 80 certified PSU and it only has basic 4 wire SATA power connectors. So in the end it definitely keeps my CPU in good shape and cools it down. Typically at room temperature in idle mode and no higher than 30 degrees Celsius under full load during the stress test. To solve the problem with the LEDs, I ordered a voltage regulator that steps down one wire to 3.3V, which seems necessary. to use LED lighting.
