First, the installation guide leaves a lot to be desired. The parts I was supposed to use on my Jeep for this tire size did not fit. I removed and installed the stand several times before finding one that worked. The only thing holding the actual holder to the part that actually mounts to the spare wheel holder is a small screw with a plastic handle on the end. I've never managed to mount it on the jeep in such a way that the stops that should be against the tire are against the tire. The rack wobbles back and forth whether bikes are on it or not, causing some rumble. I wasn't comfortable with this setup, so I attached a strap to the luggage rack and attached it to the spare tire for more support.
