Exactly what we were looking for! This step is a wider version of step II (Pet Gear Easy Step II Pet Steps, 2 steps/for cats and dogs up to 75lbs). We tried the original Level II first, and while my dog's weight was under the weight limit, we didn't think about width - and that's important for our bulldog, whose stance is much wider than the average 50-pound dog . This "extra wide" version is 6 inches wider and perfect! I also like that this step is easy to move but feels very strong. My dog is not afraid of it because he had a little short stride, he was too big and wide for that. My dog has a leg injury and has difficulty jumping and is not very strong when climbing stairs, this step makes it much easier for him to climb onto a bed or sofa. I am very happy with this purchase.
