I bought these, along with some plastic sleeves, to start keeping and collecting recipes that I like. I hate when you make a recipe once, then you toss the paper or lose the link, and you have to go and find the recipe again (often times with no luck and needing to settle on a different recipe). Either that, or with paper recipes I consistently get them wet or get a mess on them, and it's too gross to keep. With my new method, I no longer have these issues. As soon as I find a recipe I like, I put it into a three holed plastic sleeve (that way if I get it messy, I can just wipe it off). Once I finish with the recipe, and if I like it, I put it into the plastic folders. What's better, is because this came with 8 folders, I can separate the recipes into various categories (i.e., apps, sides, etc.). Since beginning to do this, I haven't tossed a recipe I didn't like nor have I lost a recipe.
