Review on Brita 36428 Everyday Pitchers by Angela Petersen

So $48 for a plastic jug is a bit ridiculous but the quality of the product is good. Based on other reviews, I'm not sure if the water actually goes through the filter. I have this with long life filters and change the filter every month. It seems like every other month the filter doesn't fit properly. I've reinstalled it a dozen times over the course of a month to no avail. I can pull out a white tray, fill it with water, and watch the water come out from below in four rivulets. How fast can my faucet deliver water when it goes through the filter? It looks like the filter is not doing its job. I wish it closed around the filter better, and I wish there was an easy way to tell if the filter was working or not. Ok I am changing to 1 star and wish I could do less. So Revain should allow me to put the words "no-no" in the review. If you buy this for just a $1 jug this will work better. I broke 3 filters from squeezing them to make them stay, but the second I released them they loosened. The last one I have appears after I use it. Sometimes when I say "pop" it flies 3 inches in the air. just trash.
