Type of review

Ordered this product from Revain and when it arrived brand new everything was fine for the first 2 weeks. After 3 weeks of severe disappointment from such a brand on the market it has only been 25 days since I bought this jug and it looks like it has automatically cracked 5-6 at the bottom as if it is cheap plastic ( Made by in China?), 2 of them are really big cracks that have water leaking out of them and now every time I fill the jug the water spreads all over my table/floor. I can assure…

Filters don't fit right

So $48 for a plastic jug is a bit ridiculous but the quality of the product is good. Based on other reviews, I'm not sure if the water actually goes through the filter. I have this with long life filters and change the filter every month. It seems like every other month the filter doesn't fit properly. I've reinstalled it a dozen times over the course of a month to no avail. I can pull out a white tray, fill it with water, and watch the water come out from below in four rivulets. How fast can…

Evaluated for water cooler and filter

One would think that the problem with water jugs would be solved. Perhaps this is the case, but Brita is trying to reiterate that decision. Of course, as has become typical of this century's products, this iteration isn't beneficial to us, it's to them. The driving principle behind this product is thoughtful obsolescence. In particular, the attached lid is only held in place by friction between the thin plastic layer on the lid and the jug body itself. You have to more or less bend that thin…

Great jug - the reservoir comes out

This jug is pretty simple. It works exactly as advertised. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the inner filter reservoir is taken out for cleaning and should be removed for cleaning before first use. If you do this, you shouldn't have any trouble removing it later. I've had several Britas, from traditional to stream, so I knew what to expect in terms of fill times. I actually replaced my stream with this one as the stream only filters chlorine. The long lasting filter that comes with…
