Built in like a tank in tripod heads
Turned my ball head tripod into a gimble in no time. Might be overkill for a 100-400mm zoom on a Micro Four Thirds camera, but it gets the job done easily.
Pros
- The side clamp is also compatible with Arca-Swiss and will work with plates that don't even meet Arca's exact standards. The independent locking mechanism at the top allows precise adjustment of the required friction and still keeps the entire assembly absolutely rigid as the two internal systems are separate. The clamp allows you to position the lens to achieve a neutral weight balance point.
