If you're buying for the HDR feature, stay away!

So I tried to do a lot of research before buying to justify the price and from what I've seen and read this monitor was worth it which is why I bought it. After everything was set up on the monitor and my PC, I noticed that the panel became very dark after about 20 minutes (20-25% reduction). I played around with the settings, and after turning HDR off and on again, the brightness reverted to what it was when I first turned it on. I thought the problem was solved and thought it might be the auto dimming feature but it's not. After the monitor kept dimming every 20-30 minutes and I had to turn HDR off and on again, I was fed up with it. I did a quick search for this monitor's dimming issue and found several posts on ASUS forums and LTT forums (never found this when initially researching this monitor) and after reading them I found that it is which is basically a security feature built into the monitor, the panel took longer when HDR was used and there is no way to fix this, basically rendering this monitor unusable unless you disable HDR. With HDR turned off it seems to work fine and there is no dimming issue but that completely takes away from the HUGE value of this monitor having an HDR 600 "certification" and definitely doesn't make the price of this monitor worth it. $700
