I bought two of these for my boys (under 10) and they love them. They're small, making them great for an adult's desk or a child's dresser. Of course, children must understand and be old enough to know why magnets or small objects should not be put in their mouths. But for the 8+ year olds, manipulating magnetic balls into anything imaginable is an odd treat!
