The top of the case fits perfectly and heard it snap on when I first installed it. The bottom didn’t snap on the same way and it felt like it was coming off for the first few weeks after installation. After a few months of use (and I definitely don’t use this everyday), it looks like the "frost” is coming off in certain parts. Obvious signs of smudge and it’s embarrassing. If the smudges won’t bother you, then this case will protect your laptop (it does add bulk and not the thinnest) but if you’re as OCD as me, then the smudges will bother you because it’s really obvious and I’m embarrassed to take it out of the house.
