Exactly what I was looking for! I refuse to break up with my 30 year old. Old wooden cabinet for TV/sound system. Since I could not mount on the wall behind the closet. I mounted the 2x4 in a 39" wide cabinet and mounted a bracket to it. I installed an X-Bracket on a 40" TV and assembled them all in about 15 minutes - plus the few minutes it takes to set up one 2x4.. The TV sits flush with the outside of the cabinet. Bonus: It created a ton of storage space behind the TV, and the swing arm makes that space easily accessible. It's exceptionally durable. (The TV only weighs 12 pounds. ) Everything you need for assembly is included in the kit: different sizes of screws, nuts, washers, standoffs, cable ties, an Allen key and even an HDMI cable.
