Review on DEWALT DW2002B25 Phillips Bit 25 Pack by Jerardo Yatnalkar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not all Dewalt beats are created equal...although they are #2 Phillips.

These are pretty good bits that require a lot of torque and replace my old set of 25 DW2125s, but I also have a DW2402 set that I don't use because they are different. I've added a picture of the difference, and although both are #2 drywall bits, they are noticeably different. One has a weaker shank and a slightly narrower tip so it will work with most screws I have...even coated drywall screws. The other is thicker, has a blunter tip, and fits tightly on most of my screws...especially deck screws, gold screws, and pretty much every type of plated screw I've bought in the last 10 years. If you're driving something with some torque and don't want the bit turning, I would recommend these. Someone asked a question "These are the ones with a reduced head" on the DW2125 listing, so someone else probably bought the wrong type of screw.
