I don't know what the idiots were thinking. I have owned several headlamps including some very cheap ones and this was by far the worst. All for the simple reason that the idiotic designers turned the lights up so much that it's almost impossible to use. Of course, you could just keep tilting your head down while looking up. but seriously? It's actually surprisingly silly considering they've also ditched the tilt adjustment. The only way I can use it is to place the light very low over the eyebrows. Then the light is in the effective working range. but not so comfortable to wear. hp It might be ok if you just use it to illuminate your surroundings instead of working on the specific task in front of you.
