Works well, made for smaller dogs

Smaller than I expected, I might not have read the description well enough, but this seems like it is made for a puppy or small dog. Still useful for my pit bull that likes to eat too fast. It didn't slow her down quite as much as I would have liked, but that is probably due to the size. My fault not theirs. Solid plastic, though my dogs would be able to chew it up if they'd like, it has lasted a few weeks just fine.I presume the plastic will eventually scratch, whick would make this less hygienic, but I presume most if not all of these type of food bowls are made out if the same material.

Helps prevent bloat and other digestive issues

Cons

May not be as effective for dogs who have dental problems or missing teeth

Definitely slowed my dog down while eating. I was afraid that after she got used to it and figured it out, we would be done for. But then she got smart and learned to dump the food out with her paw! We then had to train that she could not do that or she wouldn''t eat. She picked up on that pretty fast. She does not dump it anymore and it still slows her down. It does not stick real good to our floor and sometimes she moves it while eating, otherwise, it is a good little product.
