Another great product from Star Tech, BUT.

I've tried several USB hubs since I started building my own desktops. Startech proves time and again that it is at the top of the ladder of quality and reliability. I get lost every once in a while, but I'm always so frustrated that I shop again for stellar tech. However, you must note two things. First, the rather large power button at the top (I'll call it the front one) is very easy to accidentally press if you even touch it with your hands. Second and more important is that the transformer/power supply consists of two parts. It has an interchangeable plug in the wall, which is totally unnecessary and impractical. Previously, every time I unplugged the adapter, it would come loose from the case due to a woefully inadequate locking mechanism. I get angry trying to take care of this and can't think of a single reason for the design. But go ahead and buy it, but I strongly recommend that the first thing you should do is put some superglue between the pieces. My opinion is that they should either go back to planet earth and go back to the old tried and true one piece PSU, or if they don't they should put a small tube of CA on each hub. There are five stars for that.
