WOW! Bissell vs Dyson performance comparison

I got this not because of pets but because of family members including myself with long thick wavy hair everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. And rude. Very rude indeed. My 13 year old son assembled most of the vacuum cleaner. My husband helped him with a screw in the handle. Very easy to assemble. I went to work in my bedroom. The suction power of this thing is AMAZING! With my magic wand I penetrated into all nooks and crannies. I have a sock! And I had to turn it off when he reached for the blanket. The detailing device has an LCD backlight! How cool is that! And the main body of the vacuum cleaner has lights - LOVE it! The canister is liftable but it's a little heavy, an option to lift the canister as it comes with an extendable hose and there's plenty of that hose. It is VERY easy to pour out the contents. Bissell comes with a second Febreeze fragrance filter. I'll save that for later. The main canister filter is washable. My favorite vacuum cleaner has always been the Dyson. Before that was Orek. Before Hoover. We had more vacuum cleaners than other people have pants. Here's a quick comparison with a large Dyson Ball, around $600 with all the attachments and a Bissell hair eraser. I thought the Bissell grip was shorter - WRONG - about 1/4 inch. higher than Dyson. Bissell - easy dumping of the canister into the bin - much easier than the Dyson. It clicks immediately and EVERYTHING is thrown into the bin, you can't get in there, so everything else stays on top, ick. Headlight on nozzle AND main sucker - Bissell only (always wondered why Dyson doesn't make headlights. NEED headlights) Impact brush - easier to clean - Bissell. The smooth plastic surface makes hair removal easier. No operation with Exacto knives! YAY! With a wand - I like the Bissell, it has a very strong holder and a holster right in the hole. dyson I have to play a little to get it back in place. Bissell has a range control that you can turn to suck less. Both weigh about the same. Dyson wins at cable storage. Bissell falls off here - you really have to bend down and turn a lot of times because it's a short distance. The Dyson maneuvers a little better on a big ball, but it takes time to get the hang of it. Both have about the same noise level - no, there is a difference. Both have attachments that fit on the board, both have attachments for pet hair - almost even for pets. The final big revelation - Bissell sucks more. THERE ARE NO 2 WAYS about it. I'm just as shocked as the next person. See attached photo - this was AFTER the DYSON was used on the same floor. Look at the amount of hair. Right? ROUGH. And the bucket is easier to clean. The hair is beautifully curled and ready to be shed without any plucking or extra work. I'm really impressed with this new Bissell. For the price you get a lot of features that luxury brands don't have and in my opinion they work better.
