Well, I read a lot of reviews and I chose this model because I have a cat that I love very much, but everywhere I hate their fur. My comments, in no particular order: The weight is heavy. But I've always had the canister style so I don't know how it compares to other racks. The noise isn't exactly quiet, but it's not ridiculously loud either. For hair removal - see pic #2.
