Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 255/40 R18 105Y summer by Adam Borken-Hagen ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Satisfactory product quality, good price.

235/45/17 (Since I skated two sets, I'm going to compare it to the Michelin Primacy 3) The channel was renamed to Sport 4 just the day before, but first impressions are always the most telling. It is quiet and does a good job of smoothing out little bumps in the road, the rubber is a touch heavier and softer than usual, the tread is higher, so it should provide better comfort, and it is quiet. I expected rubber to have a greater degree of controllability; the tread has a greater number of blocks that cannot be separated and a directed pattern. It is probably because of this that there is an effect that the car drives straight on rails as if it is clearly straight "when the steering wheel is released"; the driver also notices less seclusion. And from this vantage point, I observe an intriguing nuance: the car seems to be trying to maintain a direct trajectory of travel, which is why there appears to be a tiny delay in the steering wheel's reaction while cornering and rebuilding. The steering wheel has become heavier. (steering wheel with a hydraulic booster; the information displayed on it is more accurate than the information displayed on the electric steering wheel) If we are speaking metaphorically, then the Primacy 3 stayed put like it was glued (it would faithfully follow the wheel). On the other hand, the Sport 4 rides like it's on rails and pushes back somewhat against the steering. This is in no way an issue; rather, it is just a sensation of control that is being exerted on an individual basis. After diagnosing and diagnosing the suspension, I will check the collapse; nevertheless, I cannot completely rule out the possibility that the case is already in a collapsed state.

Pros
  • Definitely soft and pleasant tires, with a low noise level. The well smoothes out the larger irregularities on the road,
Cons
  • It seems as though the steering wheel has gotten heavier when it's set to zero (I'll explain why in a moment).
