Seems to be a good brake hose so far. They're only a few hundred miles away, but they're fine. As for the people who ride them on the grinder, those people shouldn't bother with the brakes. You are apparently unfamiliar with the conventional tilt head brake hose design. My old hoses had square heads with a short piece of hard cord bent in a staggered pattern to keep the soft part of the hose away from the caliper. Rotating the hoses 45 degrees does the same thing with these hoses and the head needs to be lapped. UPDATE: After about 4000 km they still work perfectly. As far as I can tell, there are no problems with it.
