Works Great! I was concerned it might take some effort to actually squeeze the handles together, but it's very easy. I'm in my 65's and have poor arm strength so I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to squeeze the handles together with very little effort. This works best if you press slowly, otherwise, as mentioned, you'll get a bit of splattering on the sides. All store-bought lemons fit easily in the block; Some of my homemade Myer lemons need to be cut into quarters to fit. Since I use it a few times a day, I mostly just wash it off. I didn't put it in the dishwasher; mostly because I want it to be available at all times and a quick flush seems to help.
