Review on Standard Motors RU445 Motor Resistor by Mack Cruz

We installed this on a 1999 Ford F53 chassis. It was right. If the fan motor only runs at high speed, this is probably the cause. We had two problems, but that could only be ourselves. First, the plastic shell was too small for our plug, so we had to remove the rivets and shell to install the resistor. Second, it worked well once, then it exploded and we were back to square one. This too could have been our wiring.
