Review on High-Performance Carburetor with Air Filter for Polaris Sportsman 500 4X4 HO (2001-2005) by John Clarey

Well after messing up the jets my 2004 Polaris 500 HO will stall after warming up if I let off the gas. Come and discover that there is a safety switch in the throttle stick at the top near the thumb lever. I don't know why, but if you have a throttle cable that is too weak, it will kill the bike. I set it up and I know everything is fine. This carb works well but I don't think it will last as long as the OEM, it's a cheap Chinese knock off. Lastly, NO! Use ethanol gas, that killed my OEM carburetor's diaphragm. Much luck
