More durable than necessary
Bought this last year and loved it straight away. For my 8 year old with ADHD and Autism it's great to see how much time he has left to complete a task (e.g. 15 minutes to collect toys). So I really liked him. Then they left him outside on the grass all winter. We've had rain all day, snow, ice, sub-zero temperatures, all that. The other day it all melted and one of my kids brought it. I thought it might not work but it did. I don't know how but this timer still works like new. In other words, if you have kids, buy this!
