Review on 💰 Premium 10 Million Dollar Collar Shirt Placket by Eric Hartman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great product! Expensive

I don't normally write reviews but I was skeptical about this product so I decided to keep one. a bit long so let me start by saying I'm very satisfied. Any given day, I can wear pants and a button-down shirt, a suit and tie—or a compromise: pants and a button-down blazer. I also occasionally wear jeans with a blazer and open buttons. One thing that has always freaked me out is shirts that look good with a tie or look good without a jacket. but then the collar flaps like wet noodles when you wear it with a jacket and no tie. It looks messy and very annoying. I'm fortunate to have a top-of-the-line washer and dryer, so I rarely take my dress shirts to the dry cleaner. Also, loading a shirt with an ungodly amount of starch to stiffen the collar is awful on the shirt and makes it uncomfortable to wear. I recently bought a new shirt that I thought would go great with the blazer I had. It felt like a sturdy new shirt, so I figured I'd be fine. Not correct. The collar sagged, like many other shirts, and I finally had enough. I had to find a solution. After a long search on the Internet, I found a collar worth millions. While I liked that it was a regular guy creating/owning it, it also made me a little nervous. But I read a lot of great reviews of Revain so I decided to give it a try. I ordered 10 packs and found a local tailor who agreed to do the work. I've tried with only 5 shirts in case it doesn't work. They charged me $10 for a shirt. The results are excellent. I can't say enough good things about how my shirts look now with a blazer but no tie. He did exactly what I had hoped for. So why 4 stars and not 5? Sewing 10 shirts cost me about $125. $100 tailor + $25 for collar. For me it was worth the money, but for some people it can be prohibitively expensive. Also, I haven't used them long enough to see how they hold up in my washer/dryer over time. Plus, you can feel them and you have to get used to them, especially when you're wearing a shirt and tie. But overall very minor reasons for 4 stars versus 5. A great purchase in my opinion. If you have the same annoying problems as me, this is a great product.
