Review on AcuRite Oversized Indoor Temperature Fold Out by Noah Smith

Not sure if this is new. There is no fake sticker on the front. Turns on but won't install. You can change the date and all the numbers in turn, but that's it. Plug it in and it will light up all LED segments. Actually never goes into clock mode. I called the manufacturer. The toll free number in the manual was replaced with a toll number and I know why after calling at 1:00pm CST and waiting until 5:12pm CST when I was next in line and it was my turn to to speak to "hereby", man, the phone system has reported that an unknown error has occurred and we are unable to place your call. Please call back. I mentioned that this company closes at 5pm CST. That means I was the last idiot to stay online to talk to anyone about that Chinese POS crap Don't buy this Took a chance Heard and read numerous reviews of AcuRite products Cheap made in China Get too Return Revain and request a refund If I could give this zero star review I would Terrible customer service , no customer service really. I think they only have one person on the phone. As I said, called the main office at 1pm standard time and was told he was the 29th person in line. When the phone rang at 5:12 p.m. and I thought I could get a replacement product, no phone error please call back. Had and knew I would get a message that we were closed. B.S. Now I know why they discontinued the toll free number. They were bathed in phone bills that likely ate up all of their profits. Sad.
