I am very disappointed in this pump. I wanted a compact pump for my kayak and decided on a better marine pump. When I first used it, it worked fine. The second time I used it, the pen resisted. The two pumps in the handle came out of the case. I can't believe how fragile this pump was. I have owned other larger pumps for over 10 years and they still work to this day having used both salt and fresh water just like the day I bought them. The pump fell apart after the first use. The only recommendation I can give is to look at other brands. I will have to buy another pump and a better sea hold will never be considered in the future. If that pump were to fail during an emergency, it would be bad. I'm glad it didn't work out when I rescued my kayak after a heavy downpour. Shame on your best Marine for compromising the safety of your customers with a defective product.
