Review on 🔪 Shun DM0816 Hinoki Cutting Board, Medium: Enhance Precision and Style in Your Kitchen by Nikki Cooper

This cutting board is as advertised. It's beautiful and smells fantastic. It's soft for your delicate blades. I've seen reviews on here about the board being too soft, but that's its purpose. If you want a standard blade chopping board at the store, you can find a cheaper and easier to clean/maintain chopping board elsewhere. This board is designed for good blades that are easily damaged by regular boards. It is not intended for washing in the dishwasher. If you don't read the maintenance instructions (dampen the board before use, hand-dampen and dry) you will damage the board and be disappointed. We had no problems with the board we received 3 weeks ago. 17 OCTOBER 2021 - The board is holding up very well so far (like new and we use it several times a week).
