Review on Yellow Corn Cob Stripper Tool by Brenda Finlinson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not suitable for candy corn

The thing was more of a nuisance than a benefit. It wasn't pressed firmly against the cob, so it was very messy to remove the corn from the cob, leaving many perfectly good kernels. It sounded like canning corn from my garden would save me a lot of time as it wraps completely around the ear so you can take the whole ear off in one go. But don't waste your money. It wrapped unevenly around the cob (on EVERY cob) so half the kernels were left over because it wasn't pressed firmly against the cob. It was cleaner, less wasteful, and easier to just use a sharp knife and hand-slice each side than using this thing. I'm sure there are some corn on the cob, but it was definitely too big for my corn.
