I replace fancy, expensive salt and pepper grinders with these. The ones I had were too small, difficult to download and difficult for some people to use. This is an improvement in almost every area. First, the size is just right for both the chef's kitchen and the kitchen table - not too big and not too small. Although the size is not too big, they contain a lot of salt and pepper. I use a mixture of paprika and coarse Himalayan salt and the grinders hold a lot more than my others. The grinders themselves grind both salt and pepper perfectly - not too big and not too small. The look of the mills is traditional, but it suits me - they look normal. Overall I'm satisfied and hope they last for many years to come.
